***CAUTION*** Heavy snow can create a collapse of snow forts. We realize these can be a source of fun for children and adults alike to build and play in, however, they can also be a hazard. As has been reported recently on the news, forts are collapsing on children and adults alike and in some cases, causing death.
Additionally, we have had children from the Village playing on the snow mounds created by our plows in clearing the snow. One of our drivers just missed hitting some children playing on the opposite side to which he was plowing. PLEASE play in your yards or in the parks. We value your safety!
