LRS Disposal Yard Waste Pickup
LRS Disposal begins pickup of yard waste, such as grass clippings, leaves, bundled tree branches, and brush (must be bundled and tied with biodegradable twine or string, no metal, in distinct piles that are no longer than 4 ft. in length, 2 ft. in diameter and weighing no more than 50 lbs. with no individual branch being greater than 2" in diameter) on October 30, 2024 and November 20. The following are the Filing Dates and Times for Candidates seeking Nomination at the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election:

Thursday November 14, 2024 - 9:00a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Monday November 18, 2024 - 1:00p.m. - 6:00 p.m. FILING ENDS AT 5:00 P.M.
Energy Assistant Programs
There are energy assistance programs available to those who meet certain income guidelines. LIHEAP- Low Income Heating Assistance Program is an annual assistance program that helps with the high cost of winter heating. PLEASE CALL MCHENRY COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY AT 815.338.7752 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR LIHEAP.
NICOR Sharing is an annual assistance program that helps with the high cost of winter heating. This program is for people that do not qualify for LIHEAP and have NICOR as their natural gas provider. Veterans & Seniors may receive LIHEAP and NICOR Veterans or Seniors or NICOR Sharing and NICOR Veterans or Seniors. PLEASE CALL HEBRON TOWNSHIP AT 815.648-2994 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT.
SENIORS (65 & OLDER) & DISABLED Benefit Access Program – Program administered through the State of Illinois that assists Seniors & Disabled with a discount on their license plate sticker and a free ride RTA/META pass. You must be in the income guidelines. 2023 income is used to determine eligibility. Apply online at:https://webapps.illinois.gov/AGE/BAA/Welcome.aspx
Over income for the Benefit Access? You are still eligible for a Reduced Fare RTA/METRA pass. Please call Hebron Township @ 815.648-2994 to schedule an appointment to apply for pass.
SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, QMB (assistance with Medicare Part A & B premiums, extra help with insurance). Apply online at www.abe.illinois.gov

Road Construction beginning 9/30
The Village of Hebron will be utilizing Motor Fuel Tax and ReBuild Illinois Funds to resurface and improve the streets in the Jacobson and Woods Subdivision Area, see Location Map. Please be advised that construction activities will begin the week of 9/30 and will include grinding along driveways and street transitions, adjustment of public manholes lids, excavation for street patches, placement of fresh oil on the street surface, and resurfacing of the roadways. It is anticipated that construction activities will be finished the week of October 7th. Roadway construction is inconvenient to everyone and we appreciate everyone's understanding. Please use caution and watch for construction workers.

Village Of Hebron 2025 Consolidated Election Information
August 20, 2024 is the first day Petitions can be circulated for the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election. The Filing period is November 12-18, 2024. Packets are available at the Village Hall during regular Village hours.
