Village Hall Re-Opening Monday, June 29

As the State of Illinois moves into Phase 4 of the "Restore Illinois Plan," the Village offices will re-open on Monday, June 29th at their regular times.  Please note that masks must be worn to allow entry and that social distancing of no less than 6 feet will be required!  Thank you for your understanding in this regard!   

UPDATE!!! Mosquito Control Application - Friday, June 26th

Clarke Environmental will be performing a community-wide adult mosquito control application Friday, June 26th rather than on June 25th as previously reported, weather permitting. This will be the second application of the season.

Accordion Group - Playing at the Hebron Community Park ~ Public Welcome!

There will be a gathering of Accordion Players at the Hebron Community Park located on Price Road on Tuesday, July 7 between the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  They have rented the park and would like to welcome the public to attend.  They are a group that has been together for many years and used to play often within the Village as well as at the Hebron parades through the years.  Bring your chairs, relax, and enjoy the music!  Of course, keep social distancing in mind.

BOIL ORDER - Green Street

A WATER BOIL ORDER has been issued UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE on JUNE 8, 2020 by the Village of Hebron Water Department for those residents that live on Green Street!!!   

These residents are cautioned to BOIL all water before consuming.  Water should be BOILED for at least 5 minutes.  The Village apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this outage.  Residents will be notified when the boil order has been lifted.  Any questions should be directed to 815-403-7594.

Girl Scout Cookie Sales

 

Unfortunately, because of the Covid-19, the Girl Scout Troop 3271 cookie season came to an end in the middle of cookie booth sales. They had over 800 boxes of cookies left, but with our great supporters within our community, they are down to 215 boxes!  If you would like to help them out, by either purchasing some, purchasing some to be donated to our local essential workers and/or food pantry, or purchasing for personal fulfillment, please follow the following link gsnicares.causevox.com/april-steeleWe hope that you can help them out!  Thank you!

United Way - Community COVID-19 Response Fund

Community COVID-19 Response Fund. Our goal is to provide support to those who are most impacted. We invite you to join the coalition of philanthropy, government, and business partners who are ready to rapidly deploy resources to community-based organizations at the frontlines of this outbreak in McHenry County.

 

One hundred percent of every donation to this community fund will impact and support the organizations that are ensuring our neighbors can access basic needs in this time of crisis. Together, the United Way and The Community Foundation will deploy the resources to nonprofit organizations who have filled out an online application requesting funds
